I used Prudence mainly called Prue as the name of the friend of one of my characters. My character winds up marrying Prudence's Brother. I used this name in a Historical Fiction novel. It fit quite appropriately. It isn't used very much especially in the modern day but I think it is nice. It took a while for the name to grow on me but I like it now.
