I have had this on my list of names for a while and haven't gotten around to adding it yet. I turned my T.V on one day and there was a cartoon movie on called Oliver and Company a movie I loved when I was a kid. Anyway I watched a few minutes of it and the girl that adopted the cat Oliver had a poodle named Georgette. I love many different feminine forms of George *see Georgiana on my list of posts.* So I decided I had to add this as I love the look, meanings, and pronunciation of this name. Also a cute nickname could be Georgie.
