I have seen this name used twice on TV, once was in Boy Meets World and the other in the movie Zenon: Girl of the 21^st Century and all of the sequels to that movie. I think Nebula is a very out of this world sci-fi hippie name and I like it a lot for that. The meanings are pretty an in astronomy Nebulas are very beautiful and so unique looking.

I think this would look good on a character that is unique and not afraid to show her nature loving / tree hugging side but is not too hippie like. I can see a free spirited character who says it like it is but is not too blunt about it.
