This is mostly a nickname for Penelope *see on list of posts*. But some see and have used this name as a stand alone name not a nickname. It is fun and pretty in a way. I’ve heard this in a few TV shows and novels and I like it a little bit more each time I hear it. Though I prefer Penny still a bit more as a nickname rather than a stand alone name.

I actually have a thought for a future Princess named Penelope who goes exclusively by Penny, so Princess Penelope / Princess Penny, both are so cute and I love it a lot.
