I have loved this name since I first saw the X-Men movies years ago. I think Xavier makes a good given name and is an extremely sexy male name. I love the spelling and the meaning. I pretty much love everything about this name. I haven't used it in a novel yet but it is on my list of possibilities.

ReplyDeleteIt's quite amazing how popular it has become in the last few decades - I can remember when this was considered an obscure and rather grim name, only used by Catholics.
Yes I agree it has grown in popularity over the last few decades. But I am glad that it really hasn't become all that over used. Also there are many different spellings which is great.
